A translation app gives you one English word back. It doesn't tell you whether it's en or ett, how it's pronounced, or how people actually use it.

What it does

Lyska is a Swedish–English dictionary built for learners. Search offline with forgiving, fuzzy matching, hear real pronunciation, look words up by voice or by pointing the camera at Swedish text, and pin the words you want to keep as spaced-repetition study cards.

How it's built

A mobile app for iOS and Android from Banimo. The dictionary lives on the phone, so search works without a connection. Definitions come in English and Swedish, with optional Persian and Arabic.
